Hire Agreement – Petite Luna Teepees

Equipment Condition & Return

We provide all teepees, furnishings, and accessories in clean, safe, and excellent condition, ready to create a magical party experience.
All items must be returned in the same condition as supplied, fair wear and tear excepted.

Booking & Payment

  • A $100 deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date.

  • Preferred payment method: Bank transfer (details provided after booking confirmation).

  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of your event date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • If rescheduling is required due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to accommodate a new date, subject to availability.

  • Changes to guest numbers or teepee styles are permitted more than 7 days prior to the event date and are subject to availability.

Delivery & Set-Up

  • Minimum booking: 5 teepees.

  • Free delivery within Greater Melbourne for bookings of 5 or more teepees.

  • Set-up time: approximately 1–2 hours.

  • Each teepee requires 1m wide x 2m long of clear space.

  • Drop-off time will be arranged in advance.

  • The event space must be clear and accessible at the agreed time.

5. Weather & Outdoor Use

  • All teepees and accessories are strictly for indoor use only.

  • Equipment is not suitable for outdoor use under any circumstances, including rain, wind, heat, humidity, or direct sunlight.
    Outdoor use may result in damage and additional cleaning or replacement fees.

  • If unsuitable weather occurs and no indoor space is available, the booking remains subject to standard cancellation terms, including the non-refundable deposit.

Party Host Responsibilities

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

  • Teepees and accessories must be used appropriately and safely.

  • Wet food and drinks are not permitted inside the teepees.

Care of Equipment

  • All items remain the property of Petite Luna Teepees.

  • Missing, stained, or damaged items may incur a repair or replacement surcharge.

  • Customers must not wash or repair items themselves.

  • Any damage must be reported promptly.

Collection

  • Collection time will be arranged in advance.

  • All items must be returned to the same event space for collection.

Safety

While all equipment is well-maintained, adult supervision is required at all times.
Petite Luna Teepees is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or allergic reactions during the hire period.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the play area is safe and hazard-free.

Force Majeure

Sometimes, things happen that are completely outside of anyone’s control — such as extreme weather, illness, natural events, or government restrictions.

If this happens, please know that we will always do our very best to work with you and help reschedule your booking to another suitable date, subject to availability. While refunds aren’t always possible, your deposit will remain non-refundable unless required by law.
